I received a message on my personal tumblr account from a guy who wants to share this tumblr between me, him and his friend. It sounds like a good idea to me, I don’t think I could manage this blog on my own! :)

This is a new tumblr created by your ever faithful tumblr devotee ‘saraniamh’ dedicated to the violin. Bear with me though, it’s a work in progress.

When I couldn’t find any tumblr blogs about the violin, I knew I should make my own!

I’m an aspiring violinist, despite starting late. I’d wanted to play the violin for a long time but just didn’t know where to start! I began at 19 and at 20, passed my Grade One exam this year with a Merit. I’m currently working through Grade Two and hoping to take the exam next summer.

Feel free to submit pictures, ask me anything, make suggestions, etc. It’s all good in here!
